The man in the video was Imad Kabir. He had been arrested for trying to break up a scuffle between his brother and Egyptian police. This was just a portion of the video. He was an Egyptian minibus driver - not a terrorist.

Mr. Phoneix Rising, Before you jump all over me for posting the video of the torture, back weeks ago I told you and all the people in the forum that's ever read any of my reply's, that just because I post a post doesn't necessarily mean that I agree or disagree with the posts.

I had not had a chance to make a reply to the post before you had popped up your post with your links, which I'm glad you did because I don't go along with any propaganda at all and if I post a post and I find somewhere that it is propaganda, I will admit to that fact. And any one else wishing to post a link to say 'hey, PBA, have you checked this link out'? That's what it's all about. I'm not trying to sell propaganda. I'm looking for truth as many of you are. But there's a right way and a wrong way to come at someone. You could have at least given me the benefit of a doubt, but you didn't. You attacked me and you were ready to report me. Sometimes when I post a post, it's to share with you and let you do your own research and decide for yourself. And I enjoy reading your reply's when they are civil.

In the heading preceding the video it is explained that this is an example of the type of torture that goes on. The site also includes links to other testimonies about torture and US complicity in torture in Latin America, which has been exposed by former CIA agents as well as Human Rights groups, journalists and historians. The US taught torture techniques to military officers it trained in the "School of the Americas" and over saw their torture programs. There are a number of accounts written by innocent people who were arrested or kidnapped and put through these and other techniques of torture, both in the past and today under Bush.

The video is an account in film of what has been written about numerous times. It shows what Human Rights Groups, Journalists and writers have been documenting for years. Torture is so commonplace and part of routine procedure that the police even made a video of it, feeling secure.

When the US kidnaps or sends "suspects" to these countries it is to be tortured. In case you don't have any sense of decency Torture is Morally Wrong and is condemned by the majority of the world. As Americans we are responsible for the actions of our government but unlike the German people during WW2 we cannot claim we did not know what our government was doing.

Theis is truly a decadent society when torture is shown on TV as entertainment and propaganda and our society condones it.

If you have no sense of decency then perhaps you should consider that one day, just like what happened in Germany and Russia you will wake up and find your freedoms gone and find you are nothing but a serf of the corporate state. I don't know what links you are using but the one's I have seen are all legitimate sites. The alternative progressive media has been around for decades and has always got the story right. The News outlets that have the questionable news are the mainstream corporate news outlets that led us into the Iraq War on lies, claimed we were winning and is now beating the war drum against Iran.

I've already provided sources that proves you wrong. Phelps ran as a democrat and supported Gore. His beliefs do not reflect any other religion in this country, just the ideals of his own small insane group.

The "alternative progressive media" is another way of saying liberal news. Liberal news is not objective, it is propaganda just like conservative news. If it was objective, it would simply be called "news". One of the sites that you frequently post is Capitol Hill Blue. Anyone who hasn't been under a rock or brainwashed knows that CHB has a reputation for being nothing more than a left wing tabloid. I'm actually quite amused at pba's lack of writing abilities. Normally people who feel so strongly about political issues are educated and more fluent in their writing.

As far as him not getting into debates on here, i have yet to see a REAL debate go on by ANYBODY, it always turns into personal junk between posters.

It's not about the disagreement, it's about him spamming the forum with links to certain sites. He is unable to actually debate what he posts, so it appears that he is merely trying to direct traffic to these sites. The sites have advertisers that pay per hit, so his motives are not discussion, but advertisement.

then DON'T FOLLOW THE LINK! its still elementary. If he indeed is spamming for sites, he will eventually tire of no one biting.

I haven't reported you, I only confront you with facts to which you provide no defense. As I've posted many times, I'm no fan of Bush nor do I consider myself right wing, I'm more moderate. I've actually been called a liberal by a few people on these boards.
