Who made ABC News Iran's Ministry of Counter Intelligence?

http://blogs.abcnews.com/theblotter/2007/05/bush_authorizes.html

ABC's rush to undermine the CIA could be detrimental to the country's defense, and could cost lives.

What if the covert action prevented a nasty nuclear war? Would ABC News be happy about the war?

Oops. Never mind. We all know the answer to that one.

When the Chicago Tribune printed a story intimating that the US Navy had broken the Japanese naval code, FDR wanted to send in a Marine battalion (literally) and arrest the lot of them. He was persuaded not to as the Japs might miss the info. he didn't and the Japs didn't. But, the Chicago press corps could have easily spent WWII behind barbed wire in Death Valley.

Okay, don't everyone jump on me at one time for asking a simple question, one that some may think is dumb... but just what is a blog??? Is it not a place like this, where people sign up and put their own opinions down???
Interventor,
I'd like to expand a bit on your definition without stepping on your toes, if I may.

A "Blog" is usually meant to refer to a venue where one person (the blog's author) makes entries and others (the blog's readers) make comments on those entries. A blog can have a theme, such as the NY Hack blog which is run by a female cabbie in NYC. That blog chronicles her days and nights of being a woman driving a cab in the Big Apple. There are also Pop Culture Blogs like www.Idontlikeyouinthatway.com and www.perezhilton.com that keep up with celebrity scandals.
The blog mentioned in this tread www.blogs.abcnews.com is a sort of dumping ground for ABC's news items and provides a place for people to comment on them.

The Times Daily Forums is, as the name suggests, a fourm. Forums are for holding discussions and posting user generated content. This would differ from a blog in the sense that there isn't one common thread and there are several authors commenting on vastly different topics.

Hope that cleared things up for anyone who was still in doubt.

We don't even believe our own media and political leaders, why should they? Razzer

Just MHO here, I'm thinking that if we know it, or have some general idea about what might happen, somebody's staff has thought of intel, counter intel, strategies, tactics, contingents and counter measures out the wazoo.

The Iranians know that they are on the short list and under the microscope. How could they not? I'm just sayin'...

Of course you're right, Miamiz, but suspecting and knowing can only work to Iran's advantage.

My question is: Will anybody be investigated and tried for treason for leaking classified intel?

I say leak to our advantage, some disinfo, something believable, but something to give them an ulcer or keep them awake at night....make it some sort of indefensible cutting edge technology capable of their worst nightmare....
