It is not childish and pointless to connect the dots between these crimes and what drives these nuts to do them. I know that Christians really hate to have it pointed out every time it happens, I would too if I associated with such an immoral and dangerous group. I remember Loughner and I also remember all the Christians that said it was because he was atheist. As far as I can remember of recent history he is one of the only nut cases that went on a killing spree that could be labeled atheist. As I said in the earlier post, would you like to take a walk down memory lane and point out the violent attacks associated with professed religious nuts? Why should any intelligent and logical person ignore the common factor in these types of crimes? That is just plain stupid.

Now once again (since you seem to pride yourself on your superior grammar abilities) Can you show me where I said anything about Christians or where I said they were in anyway all responsible? Also while you are at it do you care to comment on the things that this Rammlmn character says here in the forums on a daily basis? I find it very odd that we atheist can't even say the word "delusional" in association with Christianity or religion with out being flogged by you and several others. Yet this maniac says some of the most horrid things I have ever read on any forum about us atheist and not a word from your camp. Your fake appeal to stop stereo typing and not be so generalizing of each others beliefs and (for what ever reason) politics just sounds like a bunch of lip flapping when you ignore the scary and horrendous things Ramm says and ponce on my comment about the religious nut in Norway. So back to the original subject. I have a really hard time understanding how the "good" Catholics don't stand up and do something about their leadership. I mean what does it say about someones morals if they knowingly support a group of child molesters and their protectors? How do any of you that are part of that religious group stomach that kind of evil in your leaders? Can't you be a Catholic without supporting the church?

Either you are just SAYING these things to try to get in your digs, or you really believe them. If you really believe them, I would say YOU are delusional, and that delusion has nothing to do with religion or no religion. It has to do with some sort of mental/emotional problem.

Dark dear, part of the problem is the likes of deep and unoi. From way back the only thing those two knew or understood was brutality. They were the Bobsy Twins of atheismistics and us believers didn’t even know anything of that nature even existed here in this li’l corner of heaven. This is a topic beyond belief.  Catholic priests have been buggering children for (at least) decades, and the management of the Church has protected them from punishment.  By relocating the offending priests to new parishes, they endangered more children.
It's just that simple.  There is no argument to the contrary.

There are many questions to be answered.  I will pose only one.  If Christianity possesses the one, true morality, and the spirit of Christ instills it into believers, then how do professional Christians fall so often into such a horrid sin?

It's safe to say that Christianity does not make even its believers moral.  That implies the question "What good is it, then?".
