Hello My forum Friends,

In a thead entitled (crap, I can't rememebr and don't want to look it up) my dear BFF Billy Bob says

" Hi Deep,

Someone seems very confused.  Where do you see any reference to 6000 year in my post? "

Now, as we all know, The Billster has been a loud and proud proponent of young earth creationism since The Beginning here.  I have never seen him waiver on this.  This post certainly seems to suggest that perhaps he is a wee bit embarrassed at being associated with those stupid enough to think the earth was 6000 years old.

So what about it, Bill?  Have you changed you mind?  Are you now an Old Earth Creationist?

Bill change his mind about something? Oh, good lord.....that's Blasphemy.

Bill is on record as saying the Earth is 6000 years old.  Plenty of times.  Of course, we cannot expect honesty from Bill.

We realists can take some measure of comfort that if Bill has changed his opinion, persistent reason can change the minds of even the stodgiest of fundies.  We've cracked his erroneous fundamentalist faith in at least one fairy tale.
More to come, and for the best reason: We're right.  And kudos to Bill for seeing one ray of sunlight.

I note with interest that, as usual, the old man simply ignored questions that would show some progress towards reason.

So It is safe to assume that I am correct--that the most deluded person on this forum has actually changed his mind and has come to accept a very basic scientific principal.  Oh, I'm sure he is now a "Intelligent Design" proponent so is still profoundly deluded. But if an old man in the autumn of his life can finally, at long last, admit that he was wrong about something as Bill has done here . . . Well, it warms the heart.

Good for you, Bill.

Unoi, the computer guru, Bill like me has a historical record confirming a 6k Earth called the Bible.

According to you the poor devils couldn’t write for millions of years or even make a ball point pen.

A Billion years is plenty of time for a mainframe computer to have evolved. Based on what mankind has done in 6k years you would think in 13.7 billion years we would have some really neat stuff by now.
