Or mine?

Many drivers, around the Shoals.

I can't believe there are so many people driving who are ignorant of "road rules".

"Out" through the "in " lane.

"In" through the "out" lane.

Having no clue as to the "proceed" order at a 4 way stop.

No idea of what a turn signal is.

50 mph through parking lots.

I am not faultless, but I have noted, that almost every time I get on the roads around here, there are instances where, If I were not observant, I could collide with some clueless drivers.

Believe it, or not, driving is a serious matter.

It requires your attention.

You may think you are the Da Vinci of "texting" and driving.

You are not.

People have been killed texting while driving.

Need to apply that make-up? Can't you do it when you arrive?

When that light turns GREEN?

Observe there is nothing coming, then, MOVE!

There may be drivers behind you, who are ready to GO!

There are some traffic lights in the Shoals that last, 10 seconds. Use time wisely!

See me trying to pull out and go right, and you are the only vehicle coming my way, on a 3 lane highway...and, you're in the far right lane? Move over and let me out!

And,why is it, that when you see a sign, that says, "Lane Ends, Move Over", 1000 yards ahead, that you wait until the very last 20 feet before suddenly "moving over" and cutting me off?

Were I not observant, I would have "smacked" you.

My fault.

And you Motor scooter riders?

I salute you!

No way I would attempt to "ride" through this mess of traffic in the Shoals.

Rant over.

I always keep an eye on any car tailgating me as I approach traffic lights. When the light goes to yellow, 9 out of 10 of them punch the gas. I may have not always cleared the intersection when the light changed to red but I have never had whiplash either. On larger roads I often slow down slightly as I encounter traffic lights to encourage impatient folks to go around me on the left.

My pet peeve is monster trucks and SUV’s nearly as big as a bus! I hate it when I approach a stop sign and need to turn right and a huge vehicle pulls up on my left to turn left and totally blocks my vision. So I have to sit and wait until traffic coming from the left and the right clears so that jerk can get out of my line of sight and I can safely turn right. Why doesn’t it occur to them to not pull so far up and block my vision? They are sitting so high that they can see over me. By and large, road manners are unheard of in the Shoals area. And you take your life in your hands when you need to back out of a parking place and one of those monsters has parked to your right!
