Is the Times Daily panel bias?

I didn't see where it said TD assembled the panel, maybe I missed it. I would think the reason for all the educators was because the speech had alot to do with Alabama's public education system. I not sure that everything is a conspiracy.

You could be correct but if I was a reporter I would want to hear from the folks that got over looked. Not just the ones that got had a bone thrown to them. Where are the "average Joes" in any of todays TD stories dealing with the Gov's speach?

I've been waiting for MONTHS to hear from Alabama's 'much tauted' Department of Education as to WHY Alabama won't honor my Tennessee teaching licenses (valid thru 2014). Alabama DOES have a reciprocal agreement with Tennessee for licensing, but that is as far as I get. I've been PROMISED 'return' phone calls until I'm blue in the face. It would appear that the good folks at the Department of Education have their heads stuck so far up their azzes, they can't get ANYthing done. Oh, wait! Paul is my cousin! Oops!

ARE YOU KIDDING? BIAS? IS THE POPE CATHOLIC? There has been nothing but one sided reporting from the TD for the past 20 years and it REALLY started during the RSA mess. It really wouldn't hurt one way or the other (because these reporters are not REAL reporters) so I suggest they all go to the Fox School of "fair and balanced reporting" NO WAIT! I think they already have: one side only, the one that greazes the palm! THE DOG

The Florence Times-Daily is owned by the New York Times...that should tell you enough.

Shoot, even the TD fourum AP/AM are bias. I have a friend that works at the TD. They told me that rumor has it that the
AP was a liberal minded person and that they disliked some of yall's view points. They told me that rumor also has it someone on here was making fun a fat women and it infureted them because they were large also.

If what you say is true:

1. That pretty much answers MUCHO theories I had about the direction the forum has gone of late, and also why I got the replies from ADMIN a few weeks back...

2. IF they are obese, and felt offended, maybe it will force them a. to stay away from the trough at the all you can eat joints and eat more healthy b. get wome exercise

The is no doubt the TD AM/AP are bigoted. They let one member post links to 3 videos that use the N word and nothing has been said.

As Lou Reed once sang, "Don't believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear." I think that's valuable advice in light of these circumstances.

I know for a fact that editor MG's son in law was given a cushy job by Paul Hubbert where he does practically nothing and gets a hefty salary.

At one time, I might have said yes... but since they actually took notice of, not ONLY the insults but the threats I was getting, and PM'ed me about it, I can tell you that no, they aren't biased, they are smart enough to pick up on the "read between the line threats"...

I have never once PM'ed Times Daily complaining about one single person here... THEY PM'ed me and saw for themselves what was happening...

So it seems to me like they ARE doing what they are getting paid to do.
