Although I would be supportive of an anti-bullying campaign, I don't think encouraging students to be mute during a full day of classes is the right thing.

Oh no, my child is being indoctrinated in learning to read, work complicated math problems, how to take care of the environment, and be a productive citizen in this world, I must write my congressman and stop this.
I don't think anyone has a problem with the list you proposed, but I think there is a lot more going on in many classrooms. By that I mean thorughout the country, not necessarily in the immediate area.
Let's just pray that 'bestiality' and 'pedophilia' won't be taught as 'normal' sexual orientations.....
Not to worry, Sheffield City Schools are on spring break this week. I do recall them doing it last year and my kids told me that no child was forced to remain quite, it is left up to each child to decide if they want to support this project.My kids participated because we believe in the saying, "hate the sin..not the sinner". No one has the right to commit acts of violence against another because of the beliefs or lifestyles.

Well, is more like 10%. You could say that black people (who also constitute 10% of the population overall) are also abnormal. But to say so would be ludicrous.
ALL mammals on earth have homosexual constituents. Homosexuality cannot be spread from one to another via indoctrination. Example: Could you "choose" to trade your heterosexuality for homo? I sure could not. Just not my cup of tea. For for a large segment of our population it is perfectly normal.
Our children SHOULD be taught that is is normal and be accepting of it because that is a reality.

If homosexuality was the norm, the human population would cease to exist over time. Also, comparing skin color to sexual orientation is like comparing apples to oranges. Please thank your parents for not being homosexual so you try to enlighten us on how homosexuality is normal.
