Today in the Times Daily editorial page, Cal Thomas advocates using an army to fight ISIS.  If you send 200,000 battle hardened troops over there, there won't be any visible enemy to fight.  That battle has to be done from within.  

Did Cal Thomas switch from republican to democrat?  Per your post, he must have.

Your statement.  You wish democrats would quit pushing for wars.  Cal Thomas is not a democrat, he is a conservative republican.  He had a column on the editorial page of the Times Daily advocating using an army to fight ISIS. This is one case of a republican for war.
