Freedom of Speech does not pertain to things posted on a privately owned (by the Times Daily / NYT) internet forum. This forum is for public use, but that does not mean that you can post the name of the man who harassed your family. <This poster is referring to a post in Feedback that was deleted. In it they explained that a man who was on work release assaulted some family members> Further others in that thread named the names of a police officer and his daughter.

Your thread violated the Members Agreement that you agreed to abide by when you created your account. Therefore it was deleted.

Has anybody seen one their last posts? Help? What kind of help?

I remember that now. I had an idea when reading it that it would probably be deleted if the moderators saw it.

S/he wanted help in getting a restraining order. People gave advice on the other thread, but since s/he violated the Member's Agreement by posting people's names in the thread, it was deleted. That was also explained to him/her by other posters in that thread - that they needed to go back and delete the man's name out of the thread or else it'd be deleted. Apparently they didn't heed the other member's advice, and thusly the thread was deleted.

ok i used someones name this person needs to be known so other ppl didnt get mixed up with him pull his name at any court house and he has a mile long rape sheet take ppl that sit home dont bother noone and we were done wrong by him and the law i turned to u all for help and my form got throwed off who can ppl like us turn to i did nt ask other ppl to start talking about the MS law officers i knew nothing about that but now i feel and i am told to watch how i word things or i wont be aloud on here . well thank you very much for the help and i pray each day that none of u have been done the way my daughter and husband were done and for gods sake dont sick up for yourself u may go to jail

I looked back at your posts, nothing jumped out to me as being mean to you. You had a post asking advise about a medical procedure...and many people replied and wished you the best. So unless you have some other screen name that you use or a post was deleted, I am totally confused.

Deb, you need to relax. Then you need to type clearly, don't abbreviate so much (I think ppl means "people" but I am not sure) and type out clearly what happened and what you need help doing. Just do not mention anyone by name. Yes, it is public record, but that does not mean that you can post it in this forum.

Maybe if you post what happened again, and use clear language that we can all understand, leave out the personal information, and maybe someone can help you get the results that you want.

the entire thread was deleted. It was in feedback a day or so ago.

Thanks for enlightening me TSC. I am still confused since that post was deleted. But I think I understand the situation.

Sorry JandD, but we have to abide by certain rules...no one was trying to be mean about it. I am sure you have recieved some help/advice that was useful to you.

Does this particular person have a order not to come on your property. If he does and he violates it, if you have a camera that will take a picture with a date on it use it.

After you take the picture with this person on your property, take it to the proper authority that authorize this person not to be on your property.

At that time if you don't get satisifaction to your request you might want to look ata lawsuit.

I personally don't believe it will come to this.

If this person doesn't have a order not to come on your property there's probably not a thing anybody can do regardless of his pass or current record.

johnanddeb, i think we would all help you if we could, try again, just leave out those names..the newspapers' rules censor ALL of us..
