That few? that is pitiful. If i could get out and about on the weekends i would have loved to have gone to something like that.
Could it have been bad scheduling? any other things going on at the same time?...tv or otherwise?
I'm sorry. I don't take the TD anymore due to billing errors on their part so I didn't know anything about this event until the night of it from my niece whose boyfriend's band was playing. She was going with my nephew. My mother is a diabetic and I try to give donations whenever I can for these organizations eventhough I can't attend all of the functions.
a valiant effort was made by everyone involved in this event. its hard to get something like this off the ground. its even harder to get people out of the house ,and it was football night!!!!!!sooooo all that along with such a short notice spelled disaster.... next year this will be a big event if managed right....

oh and locals would be a small part of the civic center crowd. big shows!! think outside the shoals for revenue, ...tourist coming "here" because we have a place to accomadate big name acts. if your expecting to keep a civic center open on what shoals residents would spend in it ,it would never stay open.
we do need one we deserve it its 40 years over due.....
