A new poll by Washington Post-ABC News, shows more people favor less government.

The new Washington Post-ABC News poll spells trouble for incumbents and once again finds that most Americans favor a smaller government with fewer services.

Fifty six percent of respondents favor a smaller government with fewer services while 40 percent would prefer a larger government with more services. Those figures essentially mirror our findings dating back to when we first asked the question in 1984.

More than three-quarters of poll respondents say they see President Obama as favoring a bigger government with more services.

It's also a bit ironic that 40 - 50% do not pay federal income tax...hmmm

I just wonder where these folks were when Bush was creating bigger government with Dept of Homeland Security and the Patriot Act?

I supposed they weren't too concerned with big brother listening to their conversations or being place on no fly lists for books they may have purchased. Or maybe it's just ok when your party is the one doing the spying.

I hate that arguement...it is so lame.

First of all read the post and follow the link:

Second...is it not possible for people to finally just get fed up with the **** government?

The Department of Homeland Security monstrosity was instituted at the insistence of the Democrats. Its large, inefficient and wasteful.
