Here is the lowdown on the diabolical Obama plot to use the military to take full control of the American Southwest.  This is the operation that Texas Goober Governor Abbot has deployed National Guard resources to keep an eye on.  Vigilant patriots like Abbot are scarce these days. Surely his stock will rise once the scoffers find out what this nefarious phony training exercise is really all about.

Hide your guns! Stock up on freeze-dried food! And keep scanning the skies; those black helicopters will show up any minute now! If you doubt this, check with your local wingnut!

Got most of that already taken care of.

Some guns stashed. Some ready at hand.

The freeze dried food thing is a myth. I can grow my own.

Whatever I can't grow, and need, well...I've pretty much mapped out where I can easily obtain those.

Wieners, such as You, defended by umbrellas. "Gun Free Zones".

I will come and take your canned goods. Maybe your Boost supply. I'll leave you the prunes, although you may not need them when I get through. You may have uncontrolled bowel movements.

When your Lib Masters appear, you'll prob'ly be the first sheep to be sheared'

Practice your bleating....

This.  Right here....  Speaks volumes about your character.

Happen to need something you don't have?  Grab a gun and steal it by force from somebody else.

Who are you without a gun, " tough guy?"

Without his security blanket gun, he is just a blithering wacko  But hey, with his security blanket gun, he is still a dithering wacko.  So the gun really does nothing to change his status.

An unarmed thief with an alligator mouth and a hummingbird azz.

"Without a gun"?

I don't know. I'm never without one.

Maybe I'll come take your Wheaties away also.

I believe I can get past your deadly semi-auto fists.

HaHa it is always the guy blessed with neanderthal genetics complaining about some smaller guy carrying a gun.  Yep just take your beating and let me run my mouth!  I personally cannot stand open carry or big guys who like to shove their size around both are equally stupid.

Then you have the ones that just talk big and tell their tall tales about how bad they are. They're the ones that would soil their pants while running away if anyone ever called their bluff.

I am not a "bad" guy.

I don't consider myself a tough guy.

Not in the greatest health.

I don't like pain.

If you are a threat to my life, or my Family, and I have no peaceable way out I'm not going to abide by the Marquess of Queensberry rules  like those "movie" heroes

I will do all I can to stay alive. If that means putting a few slugs in you, then I will. I would hate to take a life.

I know my guns well, and their capabilities. I practice often.

I'm also a realist.

There can be a breakdown in the civil structure. No LEO's around.

Baltimore should be enough for even the dumbest of pacifist Libs to grasp.

I will take care of my family to the best of my ability.

If it ever got to the point of having to obtain food by any means available, I will do it.

I suppose  you "knuckle dragging Pugilists" will punch your way in and expect to stand in orderly lines at a WalMart self check out with the rest of the "orderly" shoppers.

See how well those nunchucks  and fly swats work out  for you then.

Remember this? When they 'exposed' Bush's plan for martial law and a take over? Dang, that would have been great. Oh well.

Secret FEMA Plan To Use Pastors as Pacifiers in Preparation For Martial Law
Nationwide initiative trains volunteers to teach congregations to "obey the government" during seizure of guns, property, forced inoculations and forced relocation.

========================

Last year we also exposed the existence of a nationwide FEMA program which is training Pastors and other religious representatives to become secret police enforcers who teach their congregations to "obey the government" in preparation for a declaration of martial law, property and firearm seizures, and forced relocation.

This is the operation that Texas Goober Governor Abbot has deployed National Guard resources to keep an eye on.

==================

Seems a move on Abbot's part to put people at ease.

          ***************************************************************

On April 28, Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered the Texas State Guard to monitor the operation, declaring, "During the training operation, it is important that Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property right and civil liberties will not be infringed."[9][15]

Governor Abbot on monitoring the training exercises:

“The action I take today comes with the recognition of Texas’ long history of supporting our military forces.”

 ========================================================

On May 2, 2015, Republican presidential candidate and Texas senator Ted Cruz said he had "reached out to The Pentagon to inquire about this exercise." In comments to Bloomberg News at the South Carolina Republican Party's annual convention, he said, "We are assured it is a military training exercise. I have no reason to doubt those assurances, but I understand the reason for concern and uncertainty, because when the federal government has not demonstrated itself to be trustworthy in this administration, the natural consequence is that many citizens don't trust what it is saying.

Yes, polls show the federal government is a source of great public distrust -- not unearned. Read the last paragraph of the governor's letter, He wished to ensure the public did not react badly.

Yes, instead of dismissing the people and their worries he assured them he would keep an eye on things they are concerned with. To a lefty that makes him a 'goober'. When dems are up to something they just admit it and their 'goober' base goes along with it. Cause dems gonna give them stuff. One of the funniest parts of the lefties cry of Bush and martial law was the claim Bush was going to put them in FEMA housing. Funny because free government housing is the dream of the lefties

People can make fun of people who try to be prepared, but go through something like a tornado and you will see just how helpless and isolated you can be, and then figure some disaster that makes a tornado look like nothing, happening in a large area of the country instead of just your neighborhood. Shut off your power, shut off your phones, drain the gas out of your car, watch your food spoil that you can't cook anyway, then in about three days get back to me on how well you're making it. Then when you can get out of the neighborhood, sit in bumper to bumper traffic burning up your gas while you are on your way to find unaffected areas to get supplies and ice. If you mouth off and say you'd make it just fine unprepared, you're an idiot. So instead of making fun, people should be making their own plans.

It is one thing to be sensibly prepared.  It is quite something else to prepare for some kind of silly-ass fantasy scenario cooked up by wackos like those motivated by fear and loathing of something

imaginary! The Jade Hekm 15ers are deranged!

The deranged left.

In December 2003 the FBI warned Americans nationwide to be on the lookout for people       reading Almanacs as this could indicate an act of terrorism in planning. Almanacs are popular glove box inventory of any vehicle and this ludicrous fear mongering was met with a raucous response from satirists and news commentators.

In another twilight zone ****-like spectacle, Pastors were asked to make a pledge or an affirmation during the meeting to fulfill the roles ascribed to them by FEMA. They were given assurances       that they would be covered by full compensation in the event of resisters injuring them during property seizures and round-ups.

The Pastor said that his county had already succumbed to a tattle-tale like mentality where neighbors were reporting neighbors to the authorities for things like having chickens in their backyard. The brown shirt precedent has been set whereby people immediately turn to the authorities in fealty whenever their paranoid suspicions, fueled by zealous government and media fear mongering, are heightened.

Pastor Revere said the completion of the first stage of the program was slated for August 31st. At this point all the counties within the United States would be networked as part of the so-called disaster relief program.

Bush and martial law.

"We're talking about the continuity of the government of the United States of America," DeFazio says. "I would think that would be relevant to any member of Congress, let alone a member of the Homeland Security Committee."

"Maybe the people who think there's a conspiracy out there are right," DeFazio concluded. (Peter DeFazio D Or). Democratic Congressman Goober.

Not sure what you think that proves, Best, but his statement is best examined in its context, which reveals that DeFazio was merely attempting to obtain access to information the Bush administration was withholding. Here is the statement in context:

“I just can’t believe they’re going to deny a member of Congress the right of reviewing how they plan to conduct the government of the United States after a significant terrorist attack,” DeFazio says.

Homeland Security Committee staffers told his office that the White House initially approved his request, but it was later quashed. DeFazio doesn’t know who did it or why.

“We’re talking about the continuity of the government of the United States of America,” DeFazio says. “I would think that would be relevant to any member of Congress, let alone a member of the Homeland Security Committee.”

Bush administration spokesman Trey Bohn declined to say why DeFazio was denied access: “We do not comment through the press on the process that this access entails. It is important to keep in mind that much of the information related to the continuity of government is highly sensitive.”

Norm Ornstein, a legal scholar who studies government continuity at the conservative American Enterprise Institute, said he “cannot think of one good reason” to deny access to a member of Congress who serves on the Homeland Security Committee.>>>

I am "sensibly prepared" to come and take your Ramen Noodles if need be.

Probably just have to slap you. No bullets wasted.

Then, I may go to "Road Warriors" house, and be amused by his "Ninja" tactics. "Air Assault"...

While I take his Pork-an-Beans...Pabst...and ride off on his RatCycle...

I read it betternnun. So begins your effort to deflect. I posted it to show how the lefties carried on about Bush and how the politicians knew and let it go. What I proved is that there were, and still are, all sorts of conspiracy theories out there from the LEFT wing with all sorts of believers. You're one of them. I proved that with his statement DeFazio is as much a 'goober' as you claim Abbott to be. I have already proved it looks as if Abbott was only putting people at ease. I notice you didn't put all his statements in your little post. Well, we have proof of it from DeFazio the lefty goober. I call them lefty lies, but they can just as easily be called the conspiracy theories of the left.

Of course since dire also posted you won't have any idea who posted what, and when shown will still claim I never answered your question and so that 'proves' there are no lefty conspiracy believers.

Betternnun never posts the whole story. He picks parts and links to loony left sites to make it look like something it isn't. The real story.

Texas Governor Calls in National Guard on U.S. Military

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott on Tuesday asked the State Guard to monitor a U.S. military training exercise dubbed "Jade Helm 15" amid Internet-fueled suspicions that the war simulation is really a hostile military takeover.

The request comes a day after more than 200 people packed a meeting in rural Bastrop County and questioned a U.S. Army commander about whether the government was planning to confiscate guns or implement martial law. Bastrop County Judge Paul Pape said "conspiracy theorists" and "fear mongers" had been in a frenzy.

Pape thanked Abbott for the letter to the Texas State Guard, which he believed helped emphasize the benefit of the military training rather than further fuel theorists.

"It's a sad when people's greatest fear is their own government," Pape said. "Think about the ramification of that. If Americans go to sleep at night worrying whether their own government is going to sell them out before morning, it'd be hard to sleep."

Excerpt:

Abbott said he has seen nothing about the simulation that should cause worry. When asked whether addressing the rumors legitimized fringe theories, Abbott said no, saying he was responding to questions from citizens.

And, of course, the headline is a complete fabrication. The governor requested the state guard, not the national guard. The state guard, once more, is the official state militia, separate from the national guard. They are for times when the national guard is not available or to support them, if overwhelmed. Most states have such, including Alabama. Most are not armed, except for a few trained a security guards. NY is an exception, I believe.
