Jeez this place is volatile

I don't frequent these forums much because of the perpetual poo-flinging going on. There are a lot of other forums I frequent (I even moderate a gun forum with ~6000 members) that don't have near the level of name calling and flat out attacking other people. It seems like no matter the topic, it ends up being a bunch of left vs right name calling. I mean, good Lord people, how freaking old are you guys? It feels like a bunch of jr. high girls having a cat fight in practically every thread.

The other forums I frequent of course have some people that are overly zealous in their political accusations, but I've never seen another one that's as volatile as this one.

I'm a moderator on an atv site of 97,000 members, and a member of much smaller sites. I can say that it happens to some degree on almost all forums. When you can hide behind a screenname, you get people that feel invincible and say whatever they please. The majority of the members on the site I moderate are 16-20 year old guys. It makes this place look angelic. Wink

You are right about that! It's a good thing that what we say here doesn't matter. If we were in charge of ANYTHING, it would get broken, be broken, stay broken, and result in BONES being broken. Big Grin

I understand what you were going for, the the word "offal" refers to that which is cast off, I think the word you meant to use was "ordure". You're welcome.
