Jesse Jackson declares war on "N" word...

Sounds to me like the man humbled himself, admitted he made a mistake and apologized. Perhaps the Reverend should practice what he preaches. Oh, yeah, I forgot, he doesn't preach the gospel. Now, let's see, what is it this guy preaches? Anybody? <cricket>

Banning the "N" word would put a real damper on your rallies, wouldn't it? The annual Khistmas Kross Kindling festival just wouldn't be the same without it. I can tell you're dissapointed.

J.J. declared a ban on the "N" word for all Americans, this includes rappers, preachers, teachers, web bloggers, and members of all communities. Richards verbally attacked the diverse group (asian,black,white, and hispanic)of attendies because they arrived late and he felt like the were an interuption. He started with "look at that group of Black and Mexican college students coming in late". The most offensive comments were "if this were fifty years ago he would have a fork up their a*&" , "when I wake up in the morning, I'm rich, when u wake up in the morning u r still a N*#@7r". The person in the audience that yelled back and cakked him a cr#ck8r was not a part of the group. The group attended because they were big Seinfeld fans and arrived late because they were only there to see Richards.

RICHARDS IS THE REAL IDIOT.
for the record Jesse is an idiot too.

we sometimes offend others unintentionally, and have sincere regrets. I believe Richards actions were hateful, and a true expression of how he feels.

Treat others like u would want to be treated and the rewards are endless.

Anyone who uses racial slurs or expletives only succeeds in looking stupid. It reflects small brains and small vocabularies. No offense to anyone here who likes to curse, but I'm just telling you. You automatically lose respect and credibility when you use expletives and/or racial slurs. I'm not sure if it's even a conscious reaction, but it's there nonetheless.

The fact that people would consider an apolgy for such an offense is shocking to me. This is HATE in its purest form. Micheal Richards feels like he is superior to another race that GOD created. To spew negative and hateful remarks about an entire race of people that GOD used his hands and infinate power to create is scary and absolutely ignorant. If you cant get along with your brothers and sisters on earth do you think that you will stand next to them in HEAVEN? A friend of mine posted the previous remarks and I agree with him 100%. There may be jealousy or stupidity involved in this, either way its wrong. I forgive if it is asked because its the right thing to do. But forgive and forget are two different things. I will not purchase Sienfeld merchandise any longer. If you feel that you can call someone the "N" word and not be racist then you need to question yourself. Why would you use a word with such pain and blood attatched to it towards another person. If Jesus were standing at your door today with black skin.....would you still have the same argument?

Until bgabe9 shared it with us, I didn't even know what Richards said. The article Brentenman referenced just said he used the N word. I had pictured hecklers getting him riled up until he said something stupid that he regretted. I still don't get JJ's involvement, but that's nothing new.

Off the subject a little, but...What shocks me is that anybody cares what this guy or any other actor/actress has to say about anything. It kills me how actors, actresses and singers are always sticking their nose in the middle of major world decisions or politics like anybody sees them as an authority on anything besides their trade. Newsflash! We don't!

It doesn't matter what the heckler's said, he shouldn't have lowered himself to that level. Again, with rights comes responsibilities. When you say something stupid, be prepared for the consequences.

Besides, he's already made his apology. If he would just shut up about it, it will blow over. He keeps making statements and holding press conferences because this is the most attention he's seen since Seinfeld ended.

Joy, you a right on about caring what entertainer say. Did you know that more people showed up in Birmingham to see to the the American Idol Taylor hicks than did people to for the pro American rally that was to support stopping the Amnesty of illegal alliens? The majority of people in this country are so glued to the IDIOT box that they have no idea whos runnig or whats going on in this country.

I seen part of the video on YOUTUBE.com. You can see hecklers shouting at him but can't make out what they are saying. I heard from someone that they were slinging racial slurs at Kramer first.

If that is so then where is the out cry for the hecklers to take theropy?

When I compare Cosmos context to some old Chris Rock stuff it seems pretty mild to me. Matter of fact I heard the N word at Waffle House this morning but didnt see anyone writing a story on the poor waitress who said it.
