I recently stayed the weekend at Joe Wheeler Lodge in Rogersville, and I have to say it was TERRIBLE. The rooms were dirty and smelled awful. The buffet was cold and looked liked the food was old and re-heated. I heard one of the workers talking about the black mold in the rooms and kitchen. I was just shocked that a State Park could be managed this bad. My tax money is not helping that place at all. I'll never go back!

You probly got the last room gus took one of his skanky women to. He dont clean up nothing and just dranks beer and sits around want to be waited on hand and foot. That black stuff was NOT mold LOL

ha ha.

Really liked the comment "Tax Dollars", The state takes the revenue and puts in the general fund and the legisilators divided it up and fitler it back down to their special interests. Money collected goes back into the general fund in montgomery. Remember that is when Lynn Greer stood up and tied up the legislative session talking from beginning to end.

Lynn Greer doesn't have to worry about it, he has a nice house on the lake and keeps saying he is supporting the shoals. Joe Wheeler state park draws a lot of groups and it has been past time for remodeling and upgrades to have been done a long time ago. The best adventure that has been done is to build the cabins at the main lodge. Really nice and relazing.

Rogersville Town council needs to advertise the joe wheeler more as an recreational spot that had will provide for you conviences in town.
