yup,and i think i will join you in that party! This has been a very ugly and stressful campaign, for voters as well as the candidates.
I do find humor to the fact 1 man cannot possibly straighten the mess we are in with only 4 short years to do so. I only hope who ever wins can at least get this country back on the right track!

I consider myself very intelligent.........we will have a new President tuesday.....yes Georgie boy gets a few more months to enjoy the worst approval rating ever, bless his heart Roll Eyes And yes you presumed correctly I'm voting for Obama/Biden...you on the other hand are in McCain's court correct? Bless your heart Roll Eyes We are just overflowing with intellegent republicans on this form Gosh Golly Wink Tuesday is a new day for America, the righteous wind is at our back! May hope live on and change follow! We are all about to witness history, tuesday we will have a new president!
If Obama wins the election it will be a sad day for all Americans. Pres. Bush had to clean up after the Clinton era and deal with a dem. congress the last two yrs. Now I'm neither dem. or rep. What happened to voting for a person for the platform they ran on? The people that are voting for Obama want change... The change this land needs is God! Our country has gotten so far away from God. HE may give you the change you seek to show you He is in control. Before you go vote on Tuesday PRAY. Pray for our country, our leaders and the healing of our land. What has happened to right and wrong? If you can vote for a man that has no regard for life and sat in a church for 20 yrs and listened to Jeremiah Wright then you deserve the change you seek. GOD have mercy on us and God Bless America!

A new day for America? That's what we need is a new day. Change that to a new day for ME (those that vote for Obama) As for myself, I will have no part in helping Barack Hussein Muhamad Obama
get elected. You want a new Pres? (king?), you may get him... and all that goes with it! I'd think, pray and get educated before Tuesday. Some of us alreday have. McCain/Palin 2008. GO VOTE. IN GOD WE TRUST!
Honestly, I'm more exhausted than excited.

This has been the longest, most hate-filled, bile-spewing, blindly partisan cornucopia of lies, slander and mudslinging that American politics has ever inflicted upon the masses.

Approximately half the country thinks their candidate is going to be the champion of all things wonderful. They will be disappointed when their candidate loses. The other half think THEIR candidate will be the one to bring a halcyon era. They will be disappointed when it becomes painfully clear that their candidate lied to them with the sole purpose of getting elected.

The bottom line is, no matter who wins in this election (that's basically been going on since the 2006 mid-term election), the vast majority of the electorate are going to wind up disappointed.

Not sure I would go THAT far in the assessment. The elections of 1800, 1824, 1828, 1884 were, in my opinion, much worse, with accusations of bigamy, prostitution and pimping, and illegitimate children openly bandied back and forth.

However, your assessment that,

"Approximately half the country thinks their candidate is going to be the champion of all things wonderful. They will be disappointed when their candidate loses. The other half think THEIR candidate will be the one to bring a halcyon era. They will be disappointed when it becomes painfully clear that their candidate lied to them with the sole purpose of getting elected.

The bottom line is, no matter who wins in this election (that's basically been going on since the 2006 mid-term election), the vast majority of the electorate are going to wind up disappointed,"

is dead-on. If it is a major victory for the Democrats, then they had best be up for the challenge, because if not, it will be a political bloodbath against them in the next couple of elections. My hope is that the benefactors of this might be a viable third party. What's the point in having a choice between Pepsi and Coke if your favorite drink is Orange Crush?

100% accurate!!!

One thing's for sure, come Tuesday we'll have a new President, and it'll be either an A-hole or a B-hole.

That's why you aren't given a choice too vote for "none of the above", because McCain or Obama know they wouldn't stand a chance.
