Just heard on the news: Fred Thompson MIGHT throw his hat in the ring...

FOX News was reporting tonight a story out of the C-PAC conservative conventin in D.C. There is talk, just talk mind you, that Fred Dalton Thompson, former senator of Tennessee, and a native of Lawrenceburg, MIGHT throw his hat in the ring, and that a decision from him could come next week.

Lord, I hope so!!! The man's character is impeccable....and I will have to admit, a better actor than Ronald Reagan....LOL

I think Fred Thompson would be wonderful for the job. I think he would try his best to do more for the working man than only trying to help the rich, and you are right on the mark about his character.

FYI, Fred Thompson was born in Sheffield, AL. and gres up in Lawrenceburg, Tn. Was a TENNESSEE Senator. probably lives part-time in California since he's an actor. I'm not exactly sure where the OIL part comes in. Check your facts http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Dalton_Thompson

He spends most of his time between his farm in Lawrenceburg and NYC while filming Law and Order....

I like him to. He stood up against the federal government when they were withholding highway funds to states that did not raise the drinking age. He is a states rights man.

I still like tom Tancredo also.
