Florida police have made an arrest after video of a vicious robbery was released showing a man enter a store, assault a pregnant female clerk and steal cash from the register.

Vincent Lavon Johnson, 41, was caught on camera walking into a Pensacola Boost Mobile store Wednesday afternoon and scoping out the scene, before reaching over the counter and punching store employee Jessica Smith, 35, in the face, authorities said.

Footage then shows Johnson walk behind the counter and demand Smith provide him with instructions on how to open the cash register.

“Open the register!” he yelled at her. “How do you do it?”

“Oh my God,” she replied. “There is a button.”

The man is then seen in the video opening the register and stuffing cash into his pants and leaving the store.

The Pensacola Police Department was able to identify Johnson as the suspect in the video after receiving several tips following media broadcasts of the brutal robbery. An individual tipped officers off to a location Johnson would likely be and an arrest was made early Thursday morning, after the 41-year-old led officers on a brief chase.

He was charged with felony battery, strong-arm robbery and burglary.

Smith, who was seen in the video with a bloodied face, was taken to the hospital for a broken nose,

Looks like it's not going to be his last rodeo either.

You have to admit it was so necessary to beat a 41 year old  pregnant

woman to the floor. If he had just walked around the counter and demanded

the money and left with what few dollars available, OK.

But then that wouldn't be the black on white woman hate crime he wanted

when he walked into the place.
