I know quite a variety of women, and none of them believe women should "behave just like men". That tends to be the view of weak men, insecure men, or men who prefer weak, needy women (the latter usually is a symptom of one of the previously mentioned maladies).

I happened to sit in on an afternoon of tv with my wife several years ago. Seems like it was phil dungahue and then oprah. On the first show there were several women who were groupies to pro athletes and they were describing how wonderful it is to be promiscuous like men, that it was time for women to have a little fun, too. The predominantly female crowd was screeching their approval.
Following that show was oprah. Her guests were women complaining that AIDS cases were skyrocketing among women as compared with straight men and the government wasn't doing anything about it. The predominantly female audience chimed in with their "amens" and "you go girls" without ever stopping to realize WHY AIDS was spreading faster among women.
Of course the moral of the story is, "If you play, you pay" and because of the anatomical difference between women and men, women are far more susceptible to infection than straight men. Sorry about that. I didn't make the rules. That's just life. So my remark isn't off balance, just unpopular.
