Kerry slams Bush pick for VA post

Good for them!!! It is time someone stood up to Bush... Only thing I can see is that I THINK that Bush isn't going to be able to handle people standing up to him,... he ignores judges, congress, senate, and does what he WANTS to do... so maybe he NEEDS a dose of his own medicine to make him open his eyes...

It doesn't matter if he appointed Mother Theresa, somebody wouldn't approve. I'm not a supporter of GWB, but I'd bet if Barrack Obama were president and appointed Dr. Kussman, Kerry wouldn't slam him. Just more political BS, IMO

Could be midknightrider, but I have this basic disrespect for characters like Gomer Pyle. For one thing the character represents STUPID. For another Kerry has a long History of not playing along with the crowd. Of course I am awed by John Kerry, and have been ever since he sat in a Congressional Hearing, as a very young man, and told them exactly what he thought of the War in Vietnam. I gained respect for him when he went against the advice of the Democrats and brought the criminal activities of BCCI to the attention of the prosecutors. I gained more respect for him when the crew of his Swift Boat in Vietnam, decades after serving under him, stood behind him in a show of support for his run for the Presidency. His actions since the 2004 defeat in that race, as a Senator, have been impressive, and under reported. I listen when Kerry Speaks, and in nearly every instance that he has spoken he has been RIGHT.
