Iraq wasn’t the problem it was and still is Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden, and the Taliban…‘ol bin still out there…Taliban stronger than they were before 9/11. In view of Alabama’s. U.S. GOP Congressmen and Senators stance voting to continue this war in its 5th year. Being a rubber stamp for this president…as a veteran of Korea and Vietnam I find this appalling.
Latest poll from CNN 82% of the Iraqi people oppose U.S. Forces in Iraq, can this be explained? The Saudi King is now speaking calling for Mr. Bush to get out of Iraq, same King Mr. Bush was holding hands with at the Crawford Ranch.
We can throw Billions at and in Iraq, a worthless and useless cause…not to mention $3.00 gallon gasoline Billions in profits for big oil…Halliburton with no bid contracts Billions in tax cuts on the backs of the working and poor. To beat all Halliburton doing work in and for Iran…Mr. Bush’s Axis of Evil Country? All but two GOP Senators and majority of GOP Congressmen voted NO on the budget passed that this president vows to veto, the very budget that reinstates cuts Veterans took in the last Budget. Maimed Veterans and Veterans care is more important than Millions of dollars for a GOP Bridge in Alaska to serve a dozen or so people, this is outrageous.
Another slap in face by AL. Senator Jeff Sessions who gets Dick Cheney to come to AL and bad mouth the people for wanting our troops home.
Who is Dick Cheney running over the country badmouthing over 60% of the people that are for bringing the military home? How many real American Patriots were drafted to fight in Dick’s Cheney’s place in Vietnam? Cheney is full of phony Patriotism. This administration and GOP congress have completely destroyed our military; too fight another front would be impossible with no equipment or personnel. Many troops are being sent back to Iraq for a 5th time with no equipment…this is too much, still giving big tax cuts to the wealthy, big business and big oil. We’ve been in Iraq 4 years too long and should be funded only to get the troops home.
By the way where is the oil money from Iraq that was to pay for this war and reconstruction…what happen to the $10 Billion in 100 Dollars Bills in Iraq? Mr. Paul L. Bremmer Presidential Envoy to Iraq couldn’t answer the question.

Thousands of US soldiers have been killed and maimed and tens of thousand to hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's have died. Millions have been driven from their homes while their society and security has broken down. Malnutrition is on the rise.
Hatred of the US grows throughout the region and the world and it is a recruiting boom to al Qaeda increasing the likelihood of another terrorist attack in the US. The attacks in Madrid and London were done in retaliation to the war.
Kissneger is a war criminal with the blood of tens of thousands on his hands and so are Bush, Cheney and the whole administration. After another debacle added to his list he quickly bails out.
Bush's poll numbers are runninmg about 30% approval and the republicans took a betaing in the last election. They are confused and floundering about trying to defend a failed policy while at the same time distanting themselves from it. They are worse then the democrats.
Interesting article. Turns out Gallagher is a Fox reporter from Detroit. Even Fox is abandoning Bush?
