Ok, here we have a cat available to a good home. He is fixed, declawed, good with kids and in good health. I adopted him from my aunt when she had to go stay with my dying grandma back in 1996.
Problem is, my wife hates cats. Wait, hate is not a strong enough word. The hair, changing the litter, the baby in the floor (with the hair), all is too much for her. She was ok with him when we married and moved into our old house, but now we have a new house with a basement so he has been banned to the basement. We are beginning to feel sorry for him because the only time he sees us is when I am working in my office, we use the downstairs den very rarely. He is so used to being held and petted that he cries (literally cries) for attention.
We will send the litter box with him if you like, and you are welcome to come visit with him before you agree to anything (I would prefer that too).
