Thanks "softball1" for pointing that out. Yes we are playing "C" class this fall because

1) we are a first year 14U team meaning that we are mostly comprised of 12 and 13 year old girls, there is only one second year 14U player on the team.

2) more teams are playing in 14U "C" this fall, some second year team are playing "B" class and NO ONE is playing "A" class

3) to date we have played two tournaments, one 14U "C" class and one 15U.

4) I was proud of this ranking because it was the "Coaches Poll" where other coaches voted for us and I kinda assume it's more about sportsmanship and attitude than talent. I wonder where you and yours would be ranked?

I have no children at Brooks. Hon, maybe you should know what your talking about before you open your big trap. I thought the number 1 ranking was misleading. If you are going to brag about something be completely honest. I actually think the 14u Kraze team is a good team and should be playing B class. You only get better by playing better competition. BTW my child was on a team that finished 1st or 2nd in B class last year in every 14u tournament they participated in. We are looking forward to playing exposure tournaments in our first year in 16U. Maybe you should worry more about you and yours.

Actually, had you taken the time to look I provided a link to the USSSA site that clearly shows the class but you were too busy wanting to take a jab at us. And yes, we do plan to ask that USSSA move us up to "B" class in the spring even though we are mostly a 96 and 97 birthday team. However this fall they are playing "B" class with 15U (teams like your daughters who must move up to 16U in the spring but want to win themselves a trophy while they still can) and in one of our two tournaments so far this fall we did play 15U.
Congrats to your team. Like I said I think you have a good 14u team there. I did follow the link and was surprised that the Kraze 14u was playing C class. Good Luck in the future. BTW my daughter didn't play this fall as she was involved in another sport. She finished playing 14u in the Spring and will play 16u exposure this Spring.
