Hi to my Forum Friends,

While in public, should people be allowed to use crude and profane language whenever they want? The Pittsburgh Police Department says, "No!" And, I agree with them. Vividly, I recall, not long after World War 2, my step-father, a veteran, and my mother went to the Ritz Theater. As they were coming down the stairs from the balcony, several teenage boys were there and began to use foul language. My dad walked up to them and told them, "This lady is my wife -- and you WILL NOT use that kind of language in front of her." Those boys tucked their tails and quickly left. I applaud my dad for that action. And, I applaud the Pittsburgh Police for their action. I pray to God that other cities will follow their example.

Of course, we all know the ACLU is crying in their milk over this. To read the article, click on the URL Link below:

We must respect ourselves enough to show common courtesy in public -- and we have the right to expect others to show that same respect. If they have such low esteem for themselves that they will act this way in public; the example shown by the Pittsburgh Police Department should be held as a standard for all other cities.

Just my thoughts.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
