I want to give a kudos to Sheffield PD. I think that I have seen more officers out of their police cars in the last two weeks than I have all year. What ever they are doing the need to keep it up. I live on 31st street and there are two stop signs that no one ever stops at. We the policemen getting out of the cars and writing tickets maybe Sheffield can get out of the slump and get some new equiptment for the units and the city.

I don't know where Jackson Boulevard is, but if you mean Jackson Hwy, I agree. Also south Montgomery; its like a roller coaster.
I work on 2nd street and I don't see Sheffield PD very often. State troopers - see them all the time, but nobody ever gets pulled over. AND people fly down 2nd street!

25 is ridiculously slow for Hatch. 35 or 40 is reasonable and not unsafe.

35MPH would be a good compromise, but the lay of the land (hills and curves), along with the numerous driveways (from which residents DO back out onto Hatch from) precludes anything faster.
I hear they are redoing Dover, etc. I don't get to Sheffield much, but Hatch has been 35/25 for my entire life (99 yrs). They really need to do something.
