I imagine the late night talk shows will miss George W. as he was able to fill their monologue with plenty of material. But, will they be able to make fun of Obama without being construed as racist?

I would think that any President would be fair game for their jokes...... they always have been...... why change now... it is just entertainment......
Stephen Colbert has declared himself black so that he can make fun of Obama any way he wants.
They can always use Biden. He's good for laughs just being himself.

I think Obama will be as good as any President with regard to living up to his promises. It's expectations that are going to give him trouble.
Obama is NOT off limits. He has played he race card so many times himself that it is getting frayed around the edges.
Jay Leno has a crush on Obama. His show has become a pro-Obama political show and has gotten sickening. I've never seen anything like it. I used to watch him every night but I can't stand him anymore. I think Leno has gone nuts.
"Late night shows" make me appreciate the fact that I have about 60 more channels to choose from.
Late night shows died when Carson retired.
