I also read the article and found no immunity from the misuse of a gun.  What it does say is if you have had the appropriate training and have to use a gun during a security threat situation, you will have immunity.  Does not say if I pull the gun out to show my buddy and it goes off and kills someone, I'll be immune.

Police officers have the same type immunity.  The training and testing church security will have to attend will have the same standards as peace officer training.

I don't understand immunity from any charges for misuse of the gun. - JT
