You know, I was just thinking the same thing. It seems like, from reading this Food thread, that everyone spends a lot of time and money eating out. With the ecomony being like it is now, some people may have to learn how to cook. I don't eat out except occassionaly with friends or family. I have been cooking since I was 10 yrs old. No matter where you eat out, you just can't beat good home cooking! Big Grin
I have a teflon-coated electric wok...that's the way to go! I used to make chinese a lot, but haven't lately.
For busy people who don't have a lot of time to cook and want a home cooked meal, I recommend a "Turbo Cooker". I have worn out two..and am having a hard time finding another. They used to advertise them on info-mercials. For anyone not familiar with them, it is a large pan with a domed lid with an open/close button.
You can take frozen meat out of the freezer, toss it in the pan, add veggies or a packet of those seasoned noodles or rice, and water...put the lid on...go take a 15 minute nap...come back and you have dinner. I LOVE IT!!
