Lenny's moving to the old Rick's building

Lenny's is a mediocre sandwich shop Rick's is a mediocre BBQ joint all IMHO

Where did you hear this? 

I thought Lenny's closed a few months ago and the old Rick's building was a pawn shop now? 

I suppose the rumor could be accurate however a couple of things Rick's did to the building makes me believe that they are targeting a different kind of business.  I would think that Lenny's would want a drive through window although neither location has that now.  Lenny's may be thinking that the location that Rick's BBQ was in may provide them much better access to traffic along the way so could be they are looking at that.  Either way for those that don't know (now) Lenny's is located in the small strip mall that has T-Mobile and the Tanning place that is adjacent to ALDI's grocery store.  There is also a Muscle Shoals location.  Rick's BBQ's old building is adjacent to their new building on Cox Creek Pky and they removed the drive-in window and totally remodeled the interior.

Rick's old Muscle Shoals location is occupied by a Pawn/loan store.  Rick's new location in Muscle Shoals is where Jim Walter's had their display lot.

Please disregard my last reply as I was thinking about Muscle Shoals and the Quizno's that closed recently. I also knew that the old Rick's building in MS is now a pawn shop.

unfortunately, not going to happen. they wanted it to happen.

If you're talking about the Ric's in Florence.   I heard from a reliable source that they built the new building at the old Ric's location to be a doc in a box.

Doc in the box is also what I had heard all along that Rick's wanted to remodel the building for.  I thought it was going to be Patient First but I suppose that deal fell through.  Anyway one good clue that they didn't plan for no restaurant or food establishment coming into the building was when they totally eliminated the potential for a drive through window.

like i said, the deal has been scratched. lenny's couldn't get out of their lease where they are now. this would have been a great move for lenny's. trying to get in and out of where they are now can be dangerous.
