Some of you may know that fund raising efforts have started for Relay for Life. On Saturday March 21st from 8:00-noon at Washington Park Bapstist Church we are going to Can Cancer! We will be there collecting empty aluminum cans to recycle. ALL PROCEEDS GO TO RELAY FOR LIFE! During these tough economic times it might be tough to have extra money to to give to such a worthy cause and this is one way that we can all help. If you have any other questions about events we have just PM me! THANKS!

The directions are simple so here they are!
If you are coming from Florence across Oneil Bridge at the intersection of Hatch Blvd and Jackson Highway turn left and go to the 2 red light that is the intersection of Woodward and Second Street in Muslce Shoals, turn left and go about 1/2 mile and turn right on Broadway and the church is there on the left. We are right behind Singer Sewing Center and Neils Wheels.

Or if you are coming across Patton Island Bridge, coming into Muscle Shoals at the intersection of Wilson Dam Road and Second Street turn right and go all the way to Singer Sewing Center and turn left on Broadway....

Thank you so much!
On Saturday, May 2 there will be an old fashioned craft/trade day at Rogers High School. You can rent a booth for $10.00 to sell anything you want from yard sale items to craft items to baked goods. The 10.00 booth fee goes to Relay for Life. There is a Relay for Life event on Friday, May 8 from 6:00 to midnight on the track at Rogers School if you are interested in having a team in honor or memory of someone with cancer you can contact Rogers School and ask for the person in charge of Relay for Life events and they will set you up or PM me and I can give you a cell #. We have had this event for the last 3 or 4 years at the school and I think last year we raised $40,000. Our students get really excited about participating in Relay for Life events because we have several teachers that are battling cancer at the present time. Hope to see you all at our Trade Day. We are hoping it will be BIG!
