@Hoob and bud: No, and no.

What I meant was I've crapped more intelligent things than that particular post.

@Chuckles:  Don't let the hair fool ya, baka.... On my worst day I could run circles around your intellect.  I may be a high school dropout, but it wasn't because I was dumb.  I've since cut the hair.  In fact, if you were to meet me on the street tomorrow, you might even call me "sir."

. Judge not-lest ye be made an assclown.

NO, I want less government

Less government in my bedroom

less government in my doctors office

less government in the uterus s of our nations women

less government (actually NO government) in our religion

All I expect More government to do, is protect me from the billionaire companies and their greed.

I would add,

> I want the security to know that I can sleep in my bed at night without some police force mistaking my home for some drug dealer, and breaking into my home in the middle of the night and shooting my wife and me in our beds.

> I want the security to know, that if I take $20K, or $30K out of my bank and go down the road to buy simething, I will not have that money stolen by the police because it "looks like drug money"

> I want the freedom of clean air, and clean water, knowing that some fat cat is not padding his wallet by dumping his pollution up stream of my air and water.

> I want to know that my children, and grandchildren will be able to enjoy our National Parks still pristine and clean and without the pollution of mining tailings that have been piled up by the Koch Brothers.

> I want my government to be answerable to the people, a Democratic Republic, NOT an Oligarchy  controlled by the Koch Brothers and the Wall Street elite.

Alll these things are the reason I vote Democrat. The Republican party has lost it's way , and bows to the corporate wishes of the super rich, and are opposed to virtually everything I listed in these two post as things I want for my family, my country, and for future generations of people who will call themselves "Americans" .

LOL at your naivety and thinking that dems aren't owned by big business and special interests.

The best protection we have as consumers is a free market place with low barriers to entry where companies compete for our business. Competition is what keeps quality high and costs low.

Higher taxes and more regulations make it harder for new companies to enter the market place.

You think the best way to protect people is to give more power to gov't instead of giving more power to the people.
