Liberals greatest fear or sum of all fears for liberals

The Health of Justice Ginsberg is on the mind of most all liberals and Democrats these days what with her undergoing recent surgery to remove cancerous spots from her body.  There are many who would hook her up to a machine just to keep her alive in order to make it into another President's term so as to deny Trump the ability to name yet one more Justice.  One one hand there is just the undeniable hatred of Trump for living that affects so many but the possibility that Trump could get yet another Supreme Court Justice pick and thus effect the balance of the Court for generations is something that is even more on their minds than just a hatred of Trump himself.

If Trump does get yet another Justice pick then I predict that a liberal inclined Congress will then move to increase the number of Justices on the Court to compensate for the number of Justices that Trump has been able to choose.  In other words they will seek to use the court system and the Judicial branch of Government to implement their policies and agenda in the only way possible if Trump does get another pick and that would be to wait until they control Congress and then increase the number of justices on the court so as to allow them to plant liberal justices rather than someone who would do as they should and rule according to interpretation of the Constitution.

This would be a move that would profoundly take over the nation and effectively, if it occurred, all but nullify the Constitution as written and passed.  It would profoundly change our Nation and put us in very dangerous times.  Liberals have pretty much struck out in being able to implement their agenda on the legislative or executive sides of government but through careful use of the District Courts in the Nation have been able to achieve much of what they could never do legislatively.   Control of the Supreme Court is the main agenda that many have knowing that control of the Supreme Court could mean that they could achieve nullification of most any legislation that goes against their agenda.  Let's just hope that the Court stays at the number of Justices that it is at now and that Trump will get yet another pick.  Ginsburg is already, no doubt, holding on just to deny Trump yet another pick but then to the horror of most liberals today her health is apparently declining and given her recent diagnosis and medical procedures should actually retire but you can be assured that will not happen as long as Trump is in office.

The great hope, then, of liberals is that Trump can be defeated in 2020 because it very much appears that another Supreme Court position is very likely going to come up before too awful long.

I wish her no harm but she does need to retire. IF she dies before retirement, Trump of course will be blamed.

Fear is a trait of Republicans and scared people are easy to control. It's often said Republicans control their ranks by fear and greed.

I suggest you take note of the ACTUAL responsibilities assigned to Mueller by Rod Rosenstein.  The assignment is described in Rod Rosenstein's  Appointment Order, which refers to 28 CFR 600.4(a), the regulation that prescribes the requirements for appointing of a Special Counsel. For your convenience,  I have copied below the  pertinent part of that regulation, dealing with the scope of the Special Counsel's investigation. See  especially item (b). Further below is a link to  Rosenstein's Appointment Order.

600.4 Jurisdiction.

(a)Original jurisdiction. The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall be established by the Attorney General. The Special Counsel will be provided with a specific factual statement of the matter to be investigated. The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall also include the authority to investigate and prosecute federal crimes committed in the course of, and with intent to interfere with, the Special Counsel's investigation, such as perjury, obstruction of justice, destruction of evidence, and intimidation of witnesses; and to conduct appeals arising out of the matter being investigated and/or prosecuted.

(b)Additional jurisdiction. If in the course of his or her investigation the Special Counsel concludes that additional jurisdiction beyond that specified in his or her original jurisdiction is necessary in order to fully investigate and resolve the matters assigned, or to investigate new matters that come to light in the course of his or her investigation, he or she shall consult with the Attorney General, who will determine whether to include the additional matters within the Special Counsel's jurisdiction or assign them elsewhere.

(c)Civil and administrative jurisdiction. If in the course of his or her investigation the Special Counsel determines that administrative remedies, civil sanctions or other governmental action outside the criminal justice system might be appropriate, he or she shall consult with the Attorney General with respect to the appropriate component to take any necessary action. A Special Counsel shall not have civil or administrative authority unless specifically granted such jurisdiction by the Attorney General.

Under the US justice standards, a crime is identified. Then, the malefactor is identified.  If, all of us were investigated in the manner of the Mueller investigation, everyone in the US would be guilty as there is such a plethora of laws.  I would recommend the book, Three Felonies A Day, How the Feds Target An Innocent. Its a education, plus you would understand why I advocate for bright line laws.

Its the Democrat party that refuses to allow barriers to be built. Thousands of minors cross the border, annually. Many alone without parents and more with coyotes.  There is a study that 80 percent of women and girls, who cross the border, are raped.  Last October, there were about 7500 children in ICE custody -- minors who crossed without parents.

Once more, direstraits, you widen the exit flaps of your ideological tent to send forth a reply that avoids the core  issue under discussion, namely which, if any, party conspires to import immigrant adults or children to allegedly be used as "slaves" or illegal child labor? Have the enforcement arms of state and federal labor departments even  identified significant instances of illegal immigrant child labor or "slavery"? Have significant occurrences of actual "slavery" of adults or illegal immigrant child labor been documented anywhere?  Maybe, but you have offered no proof of such.

Democrats are reverting to type – founding a neo- Confederacy.  California is the new South Carolina. Add, Oregon, Washington state and Hawaii to complete the set.  New York state and the New England states are the new border states like Missouri, Kentucky and Maryland were.

The old confederacy possessed a small extremely wealthy class, a tiny middle class, slaves and large numbers of whites and free blacks in poverty.   The cotton plantation owners and factors such as Lehman Brothers, who traded in cotton, made up the wealthy class.  The small middle class included doctors, lawyers, larger shop owners and few others that catered to the wealthy.  Slave labor depressed the wages of most others.

California’s wealthy class are mostly those in IT, show business and a few industries.  Lawyers and doctors, who cater to the aforementioned, form the upper middle class.  The wealthy use imported labor to depress IT wages at one end and unskilled labor to keep their lawn, mansions and such, well manicured and spick and span – mimicking slavery of old.  Use of such depresses the wages of a dwindling middle class.  Add, rising taxes and either those in the middle class become poor or leave the state. California has 12 percent of the nation’s population.  But, one-third of the homeless and one-third of those on welfare. Again, a modern version of the old confederacy, complete with rebellious state governments.

Labor, whether migrant or other, hired for an agreed-upon work product and wage is not enslaved labor.  That Beverly Hill yard man can walk away from his celebrity employer's shrubbery beds and Dichondra lawn any time he wishes and no one will be sent to retrieve him and return him to be flogged and shackled  in chains to work for free. But if such should be attempted, the perpetrator(s) could be justly accused of unlawful restraint.  Escaped antebellum slaves enjoyed no such protection from Ole Massa's retrieval initiatives. Not a heckuva lot of "mimicry" there, dire, in that most critical and fundamental aspect of slavery, namely ownership of one human being by another.

As to the alleged founding of a neo-Confederacy,  you need look any further than to such arch-Trumpites  as Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, and the GEE OH PEE:      https://www.nationalmemo.com/t...ith-the-confederacy/

"It is estimated that 17,000 to 19,0001 foreign nationals are trafficked into the United States each year. Trafficking is the recruitment and possible transport of persons within or across boundaries by force, fraud, or deception for the purpose of exploiting them economically."

Human trafficking is the modern term for slavery.  What do you think would have happened to those 7500 children if ICE hadn't taken them into custody?

No wall: 7500 children are saved from human trafficking?

Wall: 7500 children end up victims of human trafficking because the can't find safety?

Wall: parents and others don't attempt to send kids across the border in the first place.

What about the coastlines? Are we going to build walls along those too?

We have a coast guard and navy for such.  Al Gore predicted that the artic ice caps would melt by 2014, resulting in significant increases in the rise of the oceans.  Despite that, progressives still flock to the coasts to live. Are they monumentally ignorant, stupid, or know that Al Bore was lying?
