Like Moe's? How about Blue Coast Burrito?

CrustyWife loves Moe's.  Can't wait to try Blue Coast.

That is awesome.  I had told my wife that I wish a Moe's would open in that shopping strip.  Only a mile or so from my house.

Well after eating at Five Guys the other day I saw that the sign for the new place is up but that's about it.  There appears to be no work going on to prepare the building for any new restaurant so who knows when the place will come/open if at all.

How much work will have to be done to the building? Will they have their catering? I would think that would be profitable.

The Blue Coast website says "Early Fall 2013" for Florence, Alabama. Apparently, this is the only one in Alabama. Most are in Tennessee.

I got some information indicating anticipating opening in October. Crews should be working soon.

We've ate there several times and found it to be actually better than Moe's but that's just a subjective opinion.   Actually there are some differences but it's a great place to get a good meal.  It's located beside Five Guys on Florence Blvd.  Glad to have another choice in the area.

they do have a punch card. buy 10 get 1 free.

I have eaten there and it was good.  The fish tacos are great, the fish is cooked fresh while you wait, served on a corn tortilla with a cabbage slaw and sauce. The food was great, and the service was good. I will be back.

LIke a Mexican/Baja version of Subway.  You pick what you want on your burrito (pork, steak, chicken or veggie) and they make it fresh with lots of added ingredients.  The fish tacos are a deep fired white meat portion of fish served on a warm corn totilla with fixings.  Not like Taco Bell at all. You order at a line like Subway and then sit down.

Tried it the other day, very good and fresh! Can't wait to go back.

get off from work, swing by and enjoy a spicy chicken burrito and a cold beer.

the cheese dip, chips and salsa is really good. love the pineapple salsa.

if i could make one change, i would want them to offer crispy tacos with ground meat.

not a biggie, i like soft flour/corn tacos. i do the three taco dinner, one with spicy chicken, one with steak and one with grilled chicken. usually get the spicy chicken burrito tho.
