post the subject of our forum discussion when we begin a thread (in the space that clearly says
Subject:).
For example, if I put LOOK AT THIS as the Topic, then you have no idea what I want to "look at" until you enter into the discussion area. Whereas, if I put a descriptive Topic title, then you’ll know if it’s even something you want to look at, or not.
Does this make sense to anyone?
Amen FNM! Unfortunately, I think that your constructive comments are falling on deaf ears, since the people you are trying to reach are too busy posting multiple topics in either the News or Politics sections and I don't think they bother even looking at the topics in the Feedback section. I have tried to call attention directly to some posts in the News section that clearly were not "News" -- at least to me.
I think some people get some kind of perverse gratification from seeing all of the nonsense posts they can put up, and probably pat themselves on the back with things like "I started twenty new topics today on the TD Forum". They read an article, post a link, read another article, post another link, on and on.
Also, I think there are several prolific posters that see the TD Forum as a free dating site and come on here for the sole purpose of trying to "pick up chicks".
Does this ring a bell with anyone??
