Who has the best prices/service for buying new tires????
Original Post
Hines Tire (Court St.). I got a *new* set for my car for around $200-but note that my tires are either 13" or 14". (Plus they give you free rotation for the life of the tires.)
We get tires from both places -- they are both good...We tend to get more from Tires Only though -- they are really great people!
We live in the Killen/Center Star area. We have always got our's from Neal's Tire & Appliance. He has good prices and have always treated us good.
Based on personal experience I will never buy from Hines again. Yes I did get a set of tires a little cheaper than I could at a few other places but the service after the sale is aweful.

We went in for our free rotation and waited forever. Just a glimps of my experience, we pulled in and told the guy what I needed. he said give him a little bit to finish another car. I'm OK with that, first come first serve right? Well the guy that pulled in about 5 minutes after me got the tires and wheels taken off his truck, 4 used tires remounted and he was gone before they ever touched my car.

Needless to say those grease monkeys will never see one red cent of my money again.
Shoals Tire and Wheels in MSC see Jackie or Chris

Yeah, I used Sam's alright. I bought a 1999 Mustang GT & wanted some low profile 17 inch BF's. Price wise, they were cheaper, but those little boys running the tire shop who moved my car in to change them wanted to "get in" my car & ended up losing control of it & side swiped the rear fender into the building.
They fixed it, but it was a 40th anniversary addition with low miles & had never been wrecked & didn't have a scratch on it.
So although they had it fixed, I could tell where it had been repainted within 6 months.
Made me sick & I will NEVER go back there for tires again!!!!

I did when I worked there years ago. Great service if they see you every day, but not so much when you don't work there anymore. Guess the inside line to the manager plays a big role.

Yeah he was the manager that I had to deal with after his boys smashed my car. He didn't like me very much after I got through with him!!!
And believe me, the feeling was mutual!
