When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the holy Spirit,s42cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.t43And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord* should come to me?

To those who deny Mary as the Mother of God, and claim it "unbiblical", I offer this passage.

Bill gray it IS part of your "BIG 66". Was Elizabeth confused? Was St. Luke confused? How do you read this and still deny Mary as the mother of our Lord?

I know Billy is an old fool but who does he believe was the Mother of Jesus?

Hi VP, my Friend,

No, I could never ignore you.  But, what I have done is, rather than get into a spitting contest here -- I have chosen to post a full response showing clearly, from Scripture, why Mary is the mother of our Lord -- but, she is NOT the Mother of God.

You can find that full explanation in the discussion titled "Did Mary Believe She Was The Mother Of God?"

But, since I know that you and most of the cabal have me on Block and will not see this -- I am happy knowing that others who read the Religion Forum with an open mind, will have a chance to see this issue explained fully.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
