M. S. Property Tax Increase

I agree! M.Shoals has been blowing education dollars like monopoly money for years! If this school were truly struggling, I would be much more sympathetic but corners could be cut that would add up to significant savings but those who must have the best of everything will never agree to that. Real oak shelving in closets?? An account with PSI to have things delivered when items could be purchased for 1/3 of the price?? I don't happen to have an monopoly money lying around when it's time to pay my property taxes so those with Jumbotrons do not have my sympathy. Sorry, but just my humble opinion. Make cuts in administration and there will be plenty of money for teacher salaries....

I will be voting against a property tax increase. Why would I want to vote for an increase in my taxes for a school that will not let the public use the track around the football field? The city could use the money they are spending on buying the old backyard burger and give that to the schools and there would be no need to raise our taxes.
