Nathan Phillips, the American Indian Vietnam Vet, may be a stolen honor vet,

"According to multiple news accounts, the activist is 64 years old, which means he would have been 18 years old in 1973, the last year any U.S. combat units were stationed in Vietnam. Mr. Phillips also claims to be a Marine veteran, although the last Marine combat units left Vietnam in 1971."

There was a small Marine contingent at the US embassy until 1975, when the South Vietnamese government fell.

A number of lawyers are offering their services to the students to sue those who spread the false story.

haha   wow Crankston,,,, you are defiantly a democrat filled with hate.   What a stretch, the Parkland students were trying to tell me what I could do and attacking my 2nd amendment rights.   the Catholic kids were first harassed by grown ups, then the media and celebs.  As far as I have seen they have not expressed any views besides walking in a demonstration   Take off your hate glasses and you might see the dif.   Although I know you won't,, I post so those riding the fence can see your bigotry.

The Parkland students were taking a stand against being shot. Republicans didn't wanna let kids have a say. Now, Republicans wanna listen to the kids. What changed other than the narrative?

He's been in and out about it.  The point is that the Democrat Ministry of Propaganda didn't get it right.

So, in other words, you can't produce a link and it's the Democrat's fault.

My cousin went into the Army in '69 just out of high school. He was sent somewhere much worse than Vietnam, but I've always heard him say he served in that era. Big difference in the two statements. That's if one can read.

Phillips weasel worded his service record.

"He raised a wooden staff adorned with nine eagle feathers in the air as he addressed his security team, volunteers who had stepped back into familiar roles guarding gates at camp. They were outfitted in head-to-toe camouflage, masked by bandanas printed with the word Resist, and bearing walkie-talkies. “I have a relative here who said he’d lead the way and scout ahead for us,” Phillips continued, his voice breaking. “You know, I’m from Vietnam times. I’m what they call a recon ranger. That was my role. So I thank you for taking that point position for me.”

Recon ranger -- there is no such designation in the Marines.  Rangers are US Army troops -- the 75th Infantry Regiment (Ranger) to be specific.
