The former owners/originators of the Garden Gate are soon to open at the old Grassland location. I saw they have the sign up and it's called Mama Jean's. Should be good, the building looks lots better.

I live just outside the Shoals area . I loved to eat at The Garden Gate when I went to the Muscle Shoals area.The food was great and the prices was reasonable.Has It closed down ? Also where is the old Grassland location that Mama Jean's is opening up at ? Thanks !!

It's in the old Grassland location, on the left on 157

The Grassland location is on 157/20 alt 72 right east of the big Shell truck stop. The Garden Gate is still in business, different owners but the same food.
