I can't put it any better than Trader did.

I have tremendous respect for our military men and women, in particular those in the Marine Corps. That being said, I hope that some of this guy's fellow grunts square this sick person away in such a way that he learns the lesson that cruelty to animals is wrong, no matter who is doing it.

They should sling him off of a bluff !!!!

This poor excuse for a human does not represent the majority of our troops in Iraq or elsewhere. Most of my family have served in the military right out of college and I grew up on military bases. Never did I see or meet someone like this piece of pig XXXX!

I clicked the link and it took me to ABC News about some politician doing a strip tease or soemthing...I waited and waited and never saw the video you are talking about...

Looks to me like he just wanted someone to think he is so bad, I have seen these type of people before, they are what you called chicken when face with someone that can stand up for themselves. Bet this same person is someone that beats his wife or grandmaw just to show how big he is. I have the utmost respect for our military, but this person is some sickco.

The offender is from a unit in Hawaii and named or nicknamed Hotari. He shouldn't be hard to find.

Just give me 10 minutes in a locked room with this sicko freak!

According to some of the Marines here, he and his family have been receiving threats such as burning their house. The home telephone number was put out on the internet (it was disconnected yesterday). He's back in Hawaii and the incident is being investigated.

His family shouldn't be harassed but he should be prosecuted and should be dishonorably discharged.

Those that would do that with a puppy would probably do the same with an adult. They may have seen so much that there sense of right and wrong became blurred and their heart grew cold. What they did is inexcusable. But I really doubt if punishment will make them see the error in their ways. Something is really missing in the heart and lives of these young men. People don't become this way without reason. They should be punished, but more than that they need help so that they don't repeat such terrible acts with people the next time round.

He was probably mean to animals as a child .
