Mass For Animals -- Oct. 2011

"Gil Florini, of Saint-Pierre-d'Arene's church, blesses donkeys with holy water after a mass dedicated to animals on Oct. 9, 2011, in the southeastern French city of Nice."

Is this based on scripture or tradition?  Certainly NOT on scripture, so one must wonder what "tradition" allegedly handed down through the Apostles, is claimed to authorize this a r s e-ical, farcical business?

I yam what I yam and that's all I yam--but it is enough!

Not Scripture or Tradition, but an act of gratitude for the animals God created

for us. They help us work and are much better friends than say, you?

God left the care of animals in out hands. If you object to the consideration

of animals why don't you take your ****  down the road.

There isn't anything farcical about the good treatment of God's creatures.

But I'm glad it got your depends in a wad.........Idiot

It is surprising that someone like you who, has so much to say about the "Eucharist" and its holy significance, would countenance a "mass" to be celebrated as a means of expressing gratitude to donkeys and the like.   This  dedication of a "mass" to animals instead of to Christ is a profanation of the worst sort.

Amazing how you always find something about the Catholic Church to mock but never anything about your own

If we start blessing four-legged critters with some magic "holy water"  I will mock away.

Why do you care if another church uses "magic holy water?" Does that ruin your day somehow?

You're just an ass.

________

V, my friend, I've been in many COC. I've never been in one in which the people looked like they were happy to be there. The ones that weren't sleeping, looked miserable & bored out of their mind. I've seen this in many churches, but none as much as the COC.

Of course, I can "belittle" since I'm not a "Christian".

But I spoke the truth & it wasn't meant to belittle anyone.

It is not "belittling" to point out the inanity of a heretical, disgraceful, and utterly un-Biblical practice like having a mass to bless donkeys.

.......
The point is contendah, that your opinion is just that, nothing more than an

opinion. An over done worn out billie grayish fifth grade type meaningless

thought of the way you think..........Bravo bible monkey.
