Since they come through the newpaper like migrating birds I thought I would place this in feedback so PERHAPS someone at the TD will do something about it. THIS is how a LOT of citizens in the area feel, and one of the reasons the TD subscription rate is at an ALL time low! The DOG

Let me preface this with a statement about the journalist of this "article": Bernie Delinski is a decent guy, I know him. A little laid back, naive and impressionable, but decent! I am sure this article was "framed" by Forrest Wrights "buttboy" Mike Goins, manageing editor. Let me pose this question to the group. Why was the example of Iuka used in this way? Why didn't the "investigative" staff go 30 miles down the road and look at Tupelo? I tell you why, it was a scare tactic! The same one-sided scare tactic reporting that was used on the RSA issue! Tupelo is a success! I remember when I had Comonopoly Cable and the Shoals Area Homebuilders Association aired an investigative reporting piece after EACH Florence City Council meeting showing the accomplishments of Tupelo in the last 10 years. They have a sign over the entrance to the Chamber of Commerce that reads: ONE THOUSAND NEW JOBS. That is their goal, EACH YEAR, and HAS BEEN MET FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS! That is 10,000 jobs! How many jobs has SEDA produced in 20 years? AND WITH HOW MUCH TAXPAYER MONEY! No, the one-sided scare tactic that this newpaper is using is evident to those who know what is actually going on (such as the homebuilders association and citizens who have taken the time to investigate) and letters to the editor need to FLOOD the TD! Of course, they may not get published (they didn't when the RSA landgrab was going on) BUT at least they should be heard! And a beforehand thank you to a man I KNOW will voice on this: JOHN CROWDER at the Florence City Council meeting. It is a shame that this area doesn't have more citizens like this who WILL take a stand and not either go along to get along or put their heads in the sand! THE DOG doesn't like sand and always BARKS! I don't owe or get ONE **** THING from Forrest Wright or David Bronner and sure don't trust Mike Goens and the TD! THE DOG
