Michael Jackson dead from heart attack

just read on MSNBC he was not breathing when paramedics arrived did CPR and rushed to hospital...believed to be cardiac arrest.

LOS ANGELES, CA (WFIE) - Entertainment website TMZ is reporting that Michael Jackson died Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles. He was 50.

On Thursday, Jackson was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Los Angeles.

TMZ says Jackson was suffering cardiac arrest and received CPR en route to the hospital.

TMZ reports that the 911 call came from his home in Los Angeles at 12:21pm.

The L. A. Times reports that Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home.

CNN reports Jackson was working on a comeback tour.

Watching now, no report yet.

So far, only TMZ says he's dead. No other network has said so yet.

NBC just broke in...it's true...

In a coma when arrived, pronounced dead at 3:15 PST.

At least he wont molest any more children.

I think he staged it so he doesn't have to pay back the $75 Million in tickets sales.

He touched many kids - and some appropriately.

Worst news that I've heard since the murder of Dr. Tiller. All of the American heroes are dying. His work with kids was just amazing.

I just heard Jeff Goldblum has died too from a fall in New Zealand. But nothing def yet.

Goldblum's death might turn out to be a rumor. I might be proved wrong, but it just doesn't sound right.

It's pretty sad that it takes a guy dying for MTV to start playing music videos again.

Sad that Jackson has passed away at such a young age. Also sad is the hanger ons that will be unemployed from Jackson's death. All the security guards that always surrounded him and let's not forget the umbrella holder. I wonder if the umbrella holder will put that on his resume when searching for future employment?

That will probably translate to something like "Personal assistant in charge of outdoor enviromental control."

He was weird and he was whacky and i felt sorry for him and didn't care for his actions in the past decade, but i loved his music and appreciated his talent.

Thriller & Beat it were two of my favorites.
Love him or hate him he did promote non vulgar music.

Ditto on Michael being a bit weird and not sure what went on the past decade (he was acquitted both times), but the man was an awesome entertainer. Grew up watching him from Ed Sullivan on.

Thanks,.... yeah i tried to get to that site but it wouldnt load... glad it was a rumor and i apologize for spreading it.

I know he kooked out on us in his later years, but I feel like I just lost part of my childhood or something. I was driving for a good long while today and they kept playing his songs on every station, which is fine, but it hurt too much to hear them. So, I kept changing the station every time one would come on.

Say what you will about the man, but he was unbelievably talented. I'll never forget the first time he moonwalked & we FLIPPED OUT! My sister and I were saying "What the crap? How'd he do that? Did you see that?"

Hated to here the news of his death. Was not a big fan of his, but he certainly was very talented. I enjoyed him more when he was younger and singing with his brothers with the Jackson Five.

Joy, I know exactly how you feel. Both were icons when I was a teen. It seems so weird that they are gone.

I only liked a couple of Jackson 5 songs. I wasn't ever a fan of him.

Micheal Jackson was a very talented artist, but that became overshadowed by his eccentricities. When a person has never been allowed to live a normal life you can't expect them to behave in a normal way. I hope history will remember his career, not his personal life. Elvis And Hank Williams had turbulent lives, but like Micheal, their talent is what made them great.

I agree. So many younger people only remember Michael J. from Thriller until now. Some of us remember watching him grow up along side us. I watched every Ed Sullivan show and it's easy for me to remember him the way he was before the accusation that took his spirit and soul and turned him into a recluse. Some people are too innocent in spirit to survive this cruel world.

They say he died, but they also say the King is dead.
