The interview was the culmination of a week in which the outspoken liberal has angered many people by suggesting Bin Laden's death was an execution or assassination.
But he added: 'We're at a point now, where we're like, what do we need a trial for, just get rid of them.
'The second you say that, you're saying that you hate being American, you hate what we stand for, you hate what the constitution stands for.
