I have a question about something called (by the previous owner here) "Ressurection vine." It has crawled all over the lattice work on the carport and along one side of the fence and it was so pretty. All she told me was that it comes back every year(it's really pretty with fragrant blue flowers) It was doing fine until about a month ago and now it's all brown and dead looking. Should I hack it all down and start all over or will it "come back" where it appears to be dead?
just about ANY plant that comes back every year can be cut down and will grow back. this needs to be done while the sap is not flowing thru the plant. (really in cold weather! i say hack away!) Big Grin

while i am a biologist. i am not a botanist. i do feel i am not leading y'all stray. i have had several horticulture classes but that was many moons ago (and maybe i have killed those brain cells! Big Grin)

If you want to dig it up, you can have it, all that you want. We have a lot of out of control monkey grass in our yard. I just recently discovered that we have a little walking path in our front yard. I felt something hard beneath my foot and there it was, covered by monkey grass.

Will send you a PM, I need some for an area out on my farm. Thanks Ms. Carl.
