NOW who will they vote for? All of these people who hang on Beck's every word, and who were thinking about voting for Huckabee - their heads must be spinning!

besides there may be another candidate....I will announce it here first. I am currently in process of writing a book entitled "A Twinkle in My Father's Eye". It is my story of how I was born a poor child in Mississippi to a white daddy and an native American mother. She left me at an early age and returned to reservation where I went to seek her out. I changed my name to "He Who Runs With Scissors", and now I plan to go on Oprah's book club and announce my candidacy to the throngs of screaming females, using only my charisma and good looks. Although I have never really held a job, I pretty much know everything there is to know about business, and I figure I will be able to return some of what was taken from my people rightfully back to them in the form of handouts and entitlments. If anything goes wrong I can blame the former leader, and tell people to "shut up and listen to me". I know both sides will be happy to work with me, I am so charming.
I stand for truth, justice, and the American way. Once I was the Twinkle in my Father's Eye, and now I shall be the guiding light that leads us to changes we can be proud of!!!!!

And I seriously doubt anyone will. There just ISN'T anyone who could be a viable candidate.
Does anyone remember the 1988 Democratic party? That was the year the DEMS didn't really have a good choice to run. There were a bunch that ran, and more different people won primaries that year than before or since. They wound up running Dukakis. Anybody remember him or what he stood for? No wonder the Repubs won!
THIS time, I'm afraid it is the Republican party that will be in that position. Too many people running that either have major points against them already, or no name recognition, or no rallying points to pull the party together with.
I think Obama will have his second term. I'm glad.

You are right he may have a second term, but his hands will be tied by a Republican Senate and House, and he will be forced to compromise in order to save his legacy.

Probably some one who is used to either cashing a government check or complaining about not getting one. I am looking for someone who has never had to really work hard, and wouldn't hit a lick at a snake for less than $10 an hour. I need someone who rails against businesses and hates capitilism, yet has taken advantage of its good graces their entire life. In essence I am looking for a know-it-all smart azz who is interested in laying around the WH, moaning about what everyone can do for him. Would you be interested in being my running mate Rocky? I bet you fit the bill perfectly!!!!

I appreciate the offer, I really do , but considering I do not want to align myself with the radical right wing at this point in my life (or ever for that matter) I will decline.
But you seem to fit right in with the crowd that the republicans have out there now.
If you don't want Jimmy McMillan or Gary Johnson (both of whom I am sure at least fit the "way around a bong" criteria) how about Fred Karger or "The Pizza Guy" whatever his name is.
There are PLENTY of clowns and crazies to choose from that will suit you PERFECTLY as a running mate, teyates!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO!

Now, let me see, didn't I read somewhere on this forum that you CLAIMED you made something like 250k a year???? (Yeah right)
In all likelihood, you are sitting in some JIM WALTER home or doublewide trailer drawing an SS check for something, be it disability of retirement. You DO fit the profile for a TEABAGGER
I don't even have to defend myself to you and won't.
I did get a Pell Grant but have enough student loans to pay off until I am 40.
As for what I do for a living, be careful where you EAT if you ever visit a certain establishment and I am your waiter!! (Actually I wouldn't do that, but the wait staff HAS joked about it if we can ever figure out who you right wing radicals who post on here really are!)

Haha...yep, as I sit here looking at the Jim Walter wondering if me and Bubba might put the wheels back on her this weekend and move her to new location. Heck, a man don't know what he's got lest he has him a trailer he can move to a new location just to change the view.....what a loser Rocky....you don't have a clue about work nor what it takes to get by. Please wear a name badge so I know if you are waiting on me, I'll be sure and leave you the tip you deserve. You might however want to be careful with your thoughts about what you wanna do to people's food. You don't know who you might be working for.....
BTW, the right wing radicals....those are the ones who actually tip well.

It cost them in the next election. I am all for a balance. One party does too much damage when they have full power.

Actually teyates, thank God that except for the venom that is spewed constantly on this forum by you and ME, I don't know your political views in public and you wouldn't know mine.
That was really a stupid statement on my part about tampering with someone's food and I apologize.
I always try my best to deserve whatever tip I receive and am grateful.
I have never had a patron leave any kind of flyer for any political causes with me at the end of a meal.
I think I am getting WAY too caught up in this forum thing, but I do apologize for that stupid remark.

Most of the increase in spending is due to mandatory spending, which neither OBama or Congress has any say so in altering lately. Federal revenues are at 60 year lows because of the collapse of the economy, which also causes increased demand on all social safety net programs. The fact is, OBama is really no different than BushIIe in any substantive way.
The Repubs will have majorities in House and Senate in 2013, but not enough to override a veto, so complete gridlock will become the norm, which will cause even more economic upheaval.

That was quite a waste of money, and I'm sorry you'll have to be working at PIzza Hut for 20 years to pay for it
The company now is Walter Energy, and they produce those nasty fossil fuels that the greenie hypocrites couldn't live without.
