Even the leftwing MSM is throwing Obama to the wolves!

"Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Howard Fineman react to President Obama's Oval Office Address on the oil spill. Here are the highlights of what the trio said:

Olbermann: "It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days."

Matthews compared Obama to Carter.

Olbermann: "Nothing specific at all was said."

Matthews: "No direction."

Howard Fineman: "He wasn't specific enough."

Olbermann: "I don't think he aimed low, I don't think he aimed at all. It's startling."

Howard Fineman: Obama should be acting like a "commander-in-chief."

Matthews: Ludicrous that he keeps saying [Secretary of Energy] Chu has a Nobel prize. "I'll barf if he does it one more time."

Matthews: "A lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk."

Matthews: "I don't sense executive command.""

More and more people are realizing Obama is "all hat, no cattle!" Or, as Maureen Dowd said between cosmos, "all ears, no Spock!"

I'm amazed you actually listen to MSNBC. Most people in the Shoals area can't get it as the right wingnut Comcast cable company does not carry that channel.

Comcast does carry MSNBC. In fact, 75% of US households can get MSNBC. So, you're pretty much wrong on that one.

My daughter has Comcast. It is NOT in her channel lineup unless they put it back in the last couple of weeks.
I am now staying in a hotel which has Comcast. Guess what, NO MSNBC.
Could be you could get it as a premium channel if you pay more or something, but it is not in the basic package.
I am correct on that in the area, and possibly wherever this sorry company has it's monopoly.
One more reason I am glad I have Dish Net.

I have had Comcast for years and MSNBC is still on there. Channel 44. I have digital cable and it's never left YET. Not to say it won't move or leave eventually. If your hotel doesn't have it -- it may not be that Comcast doesn't show it -- the hotel has opted to not air it.

However, this is the first time I've every agreed with Matthews and Olberman. Looks like they are finally have to face the truth the rest of us know -- Obama is an idiot with an ego and is all talk and no action. He's going to be a worse President than Bush. Anything "saving grace" mentality that people might have credited him for with the healthcare issue or anything else he banked on is going to be overshadowed by his inability to handle the Gulf Oil Crisis.

Oh and my package is the $50 package or something like that. It's not the Basic with like 10 channels but it's not the premium package. My channels stop at 80.
When Comcast starting changing over to digital, MSNBC was one of the first to go bye bye from the standard lineup. If you have a digital ready TV or got a digital converter box, you can watch MSNBC.

I know, I just got a box and MSNBC is back, on channel 44 as usual.

So much for those right wing conspiracy theories!
If it was right wing, I would not have lost PTL or TBN, right? Smiler,Those disappeared too when the changeover began.
Your daughter will get a letter telling her she has to get a digital box from Comcast, luckily, they are free.
They are changing out in small areas at a time. I am in Tuscumbia, and just got the letter last week.
Got my adapter yesterday.
I live in Lauderdale County. Had comcast since 2006 and have had Channel 44 the entire time. I used to watch it more than anything until Obama. I got sick of watching the love affair and borderline erotic fixation that MSNBC has with him. It's very unsettling. I tend to watch MSNBC for the headlines, but not the "talk shows" that are all one sided. Just like I tend to avoid Hannity and O'Reilly. I'd rather have my own opinion.
just out of curiosity, i went to chn 44, and boom.. there's chris matthews.

i tend to watch a little of cnn, a little of msnbc and a little of fox...

then i distill it all out and toss the spin (in both directions) and try my best to decide what's the truth and what's just advertising and BS.

it's not easy. i figure out of 24 hours of news on 3 channels, i might end up with 30 minutes of acctual data.

this doesn't include glenn beck, who's just comedy, and o'reilly, who's fun to watch, but no information offered.
