I didn't refute what McCain said, I refuted how the story was spun in a way that was inaccurate.
You cant spin a video. Especially when his own campaign acknowledged it. I could build a website and post link to CNN and FOX News, and MSNBC but that would not mean I was REPORTING the story. The same way Huffington Post did not give the interview, nor did they make the video.

Yep, when you're losing an argument, the best thing to do is twist the other person's words. You must feel backed in a corner because you've done it twice.
I work in television, you absolutely can spin a video. With a little b-roll and the right audio, I can make anyone say anything I want. Cut a speech in the right section, you can totally distort a meaning.
In your first post you claimed that McCain wanted to seek diplomacy. The video provided said nothing of the sort. The article in Huffington is a clear spin piece trying to make McCain out to be a hypocrite and that was your original intention in posting it, but you failed.
If you wanted people to take you seriously, then why not post the video from the Washington Post, CNN, or an authentic news source? You chose Huffington Post, got busted, and you're now trying to separate the story from the site. It doesn't matter if they reported the story or made the video, they still provided a headline, published the story, and you flat out lied about the video's contents.
Now everyone gets to watch you squirm as you try to spin your way out of it. "Huffing Post didn't make the video!" "You can't spin a video!"

I tried to apologize going in... I normally use my "wisdom" to debate issuses. Some people don't want to debate. They want to give their side then start mudslinging when you give yours. Unfortunately I stooped to his level, but sometimes you have to do that to try and get peoples attention.

Just because Snopes is researching the statements doesn't mean they are all inaccurate, it means they are researching.
If a politician makes a statement and you have to bet money on whether it's true or a lie, how would you bet? What kind of odds do you think Vegas would give?
