Hi to all my Friends,

Please join with me in celebrating MY 24/34/74 YEAR!   This year I celebrate being a Christian believer for 24 years.  On July 23rd, I celebrated being 74 years young.

AND TODAY -- I celebrate being married to my beautiful young bride, Dory, for 34 WONDERFUL, GLORIOUS YEARS!   And, God willing -- I look forward to another 34 years plus!  God has truly blessed me.

Then, tonight we will celebrate by attending a Bible Study with Friends.  How can there be a better way to celebrate such a blessing  -- than to gather with Christian brothers and sisters to study the Word of God, our Creator, our Lord and Savior?   God most certainly is good!   Dory and I cherish your prayers.

God bless,  Bill

Hi OK,

Thank you, my Friend.  I agree she is a beauty.   But, what do you mean, "You WERE a cool looking dude"?   Just kidding!!   Inside, I am still 40 years old -- but, when I walk past the mirror, I often ask, "Who is that guy?"   Oh, well, to God we are all beautiful.

I believe I mentioned in an earlier post that, in 1993, when my mom was in Keller Hospital, I spent the week with her.  Every day I would eat at the hospital cafeteria and looked for classmates.  For three days, I could not find a single classmate nor friend.   Then, on the third day it dawned on me -- I was looking at the wrong generation, thinking that was my generation.

When I stopped looking at our children's generation (why did they already have white hair?) -- and began to look at my own generation, I immediately saw my classmate, Patty Brocato.  While she and I were having lunch, another classmate, Ralph Milam, came to our table.  Amazing what one can find when we look in the right place.  Sort of like looking for salvation somewhere other than in the Bible.

Once again, thank you, my Friend.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
