Under the Dome, Rizzoli and Isles, and Perception are proof that new entertaining material is possible.  When there were only three commercial channels, plus PBS, the talent was concentrated.  Now, its dispersed and diluted amongst many.  However, it does allow for some who might be over looked to be discovered, as well.
